March 17, 1941 - January 15, 2018 Macon, GA- Services for Ms. Gertrude Pearson Thomas are 1:00 PM Monday, January 22, 2017 at Mt. Hope AME Church with burial in the Rising Star Cemetery. Ms. Thomas was born in Brooklyn, NY to the parentage of the late James and Ida Lee Pearson. She moved to Macon and graduated from Ballard Hudson High School and was employed by and retired from YKK Zipper Co. Survivors include: children, Vernon (Tammy) Pearson, Craig (Peechis) Thomas and Kevin (Chandra) Drummond; sister, Dorothy Pemberton; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
